Joining the Navy with an SO contract as a Black American?

You will notice that it is talking numbers alone...not acts of racism. It os a FACT that minorities are UNDERREPRESENTED in combat arms jobs in the military. Not because of racism...but because it is an all volunteer military and minorities, by and large, tend to go into jobs in the military VOLUNTARILY that have skills that transfer to the outside. You go to a truck driving or logistics unit and minorities are overrepresented...you go to an Infantry unit and they are way underrepresented.
