Do you think it is right for some malls to have a curfew for teenagers?
Yes, I think its wrong, its profiling. My kids are too young to be effected, since they cant go to the mall alone yet anyway, but my 17 year old cousins mall is even worse, no one under 18 can be in the mall without a guardian past 4pm, everyday of the week in all stores. Nothing ever happened in this mall to create this policy, they just decided they didnt want a bunch of teens hanging around. Personally I think teens should have every right to shop whenever they want as long as they dont cause trouble. I dont see why my honor student 17 year old responsible niece who is honestly a good kid and doesnt cause a lick of trouble cant simply go in a store to buy a tshirt without being questioned and kicked out of the mall because of her age. People who are 18+ are just as likely to be loud, cause trouble, participate in gangs, shoplift, loiter, and every other issue they are worried about. A whole group shouldnt be persecuted for the actions of a few.
