Is this institutional sexism?

Is it institutional sexism to favour people with qualities such as toughness, bravery, courage, etc, which(let's be honest) are somewhat predisposed to males in our modern society. This is how I promote people in my company, but yes it's true, it has made my company, like many others, largely male in areas of leadership. Is there anything wrong in this. I am honestly just using as much merit as I can.
