How will they prosecute him?

They can both sue him for damages and charge him with whatever laws he may have broken. If he actually broke any laws, the police will have a warrant out for him, but probably won't send anyone looking for him, depending on the threat to the general public that he may represent. If he's sued, the company or its insurer may hire a private detective to find him. If he has assets like stolen cash, they can be seized. Otherwise, suing him would be a futile gesture. If you all love him, pool your money and hire a good lawyer to find out what his options and risks are.
