How far removed (if at all) are your children from visiting a "crisis nursery"?

I think that this is a wonderful resource for woman and children in NEED. It just sucks that people are abusing this for uses other than what it is intended for. I think this will build hope within a community and make communities more aware that their are resources out there willing to help those in need. Sometimes all you need is a good place to stay and a nice hot meal, it will help them remember the good times in their life before tragic situations made them forget about that.
