Asking about chem set legality in two countries?

So I asked about the death of chemistry sets hours ago and I'm here to ask again , is it legal to ship Thames and Kosmos CHEM C3000 and a Microscope along with the slides from California ( Bought from xUmp ) to the Philippines , would it get checked by U.S Customs and the Philippine Customs ? Actually its written for ages 12 and above , I'm 13 and people here ages 14 and 13 , Third Years perform chemistry and sometimes I watch them handle the instruments and the chemicals . I'm a total fanatic on science and been trying to get everything related to it . I know about Safety such as wearing gloves and safety glass and mask . Safe handling of hot and burning materials and I would never ever make something against the law with it . So the question is it internationally shippable , is it legal ? My Dad which I asked to buy it has been scolded by a science shop keeper saying he could be prosecuted for shipping it , is it true ? Thanks
